CamSur Watersports Complex (CWC) - Another Paradise!

Get Thrilled!

Camarines Sur recently transformed into a tourist-friendly province. A big part can be credited to this first-class watersports facility. The CamSur Watersports Complex (CWC) boasts of the best wakeboarding cable park in the world! International champion wakeboarders flock to CamSur on the regular to have a taste of what they call 'Paradise'.

The two-year-old CWC is the first major attraction that has brought in fresh wave and steady stream of visitor. And these are not your ordinary tourists - they are the world's top ranking wakeboarders from Europe, North America and Asia. These extreme sports junkies come to enjoy the water sports like wakeboarding, water skiing, kneeboarding and wake skating on the six-hectare cable park. They themselves swear that this is the world's best (a cable park is where one can enjoy water sports without the need of a boat pulling the rider).

Something for Everyone

Unlike cable parks in other countries situated in the middle of nowhere, CWC has facilities that ensure a relaxing environment for everyone. For beginner riders to the professional wakeboarders and skiiers from all over the world, CWC offers a 6-point cable ski system, coupled with sand bars, pools with wooden decks, cozy cabanas, clubhouse, beach volleyball area, massage gazebos, pro-shops and grandstands to hold guests. There is even a restaurant that offers all-day dining that serves spicy Bicolano dishes, to pizzas and triple stacked cheeseburgers (foreign visitors cant get enough of the top favorite fusion delicacy: laing pizza!!) Riders can also enjoy their favorite water sports at night as the park is equipped with spotlights that allow for it to be open on evenings.

Give It A Try!!

It's not only the hardcore wakeboarders who can enjoy a visit in CWC. One can learn the rudiments of riding from one of the many instructors, most of whom are very active competitors. They will start you off on the kneeboard (the easiest to master) and then you can work your way up to water skiing and wakeboarding. Kids as young as four years old can enjoy this family activity.

Extreme Sports Destination

The vision is to make CamSur the extreme sports capital of the world. Beside the cable park, there is already a skateboard park with ramps from the U.S., and beside that is a BMX trail designed by an international road rider. There are plans to build a boat lake nearby for wakeboarders who prefer to ride behind a speed boat . At the nearby Mt. Isarog - CamSur will soon be fixing up the longest downhill trail in the world.
